In collaboration with the LEGO\u00ae Group, they developed this innovative experiential approach.<br>The idea was to use the iconic LEGO\u00ae bricks as a tool to stimulate <strong>creative thinking<\/strong>, strategic reflection and <strong>communication <\/strong>within teams. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-46809bc titoletto-blog elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"46809bc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Open Source<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1af4138 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1af4138\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>After an initial experimentation phase, the method began to spread during the early 2000s and <strong>gained significant momentum after 2010<\/strong>, when LEGO\u00ae decided to release it as an <em>open-source<\/em> methodology.<\/p><p>Today, several independent organizations offer training programs related to the LEGO\u00ae Serious Play\u00ae method. They become a concrete tool <strong>to give visible form to ideas, thoughts and intuitions<\/strong>, making it easier to share perspectives and engage in meaningful dialogue.<\/p><p>These theoretical foundations are complemented by <strong>a systems-thinking perspective<\/strong>, which views individuals as part of a broader system that includes the team, the organization and the wider environment in which they operate.<br>The method therefore encourages reflection across multiple levels, connecting individuals, groups, environments, strategies and potential solutions. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bfb755f e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"bfb755f\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-052592a titoletto-blog elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"052592a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">A Structured Process in Four Phases<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a1a6306 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a1a6306\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>As far as we have learned, the strength of the LEGO\u00ae Serious Play\u00ae method lies in its clear and replicable structure, based on four fundamental phases:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Challenge.<\/strong> The facilitator introduces a challenge by asking an open, stimulating question aligned with the session\u2019s objectives.<\/li><li><strong>Build.<\/strong> Each participant uses LEGO\u00ae bricks to construct a possible answer to the facilitator\u2019s question, translating abstract ideas into a tangible three-dimensional model.<\/li><li><strong>Share.<\/strong> Participants explain the meaning of their models to the group. The focus is not on judgment but on active listening and the exchange of perspectives. <\/li><li><strong>Reflect.<\/strong> The group reflects collectively on what has emerged, identifying key themes and insights. This stage helps uncover patterns, connections, ideas, solutions and possible alternatives. <\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-499e0c5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"499e0c5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Beyond the theoretical foundations, we had the opportunity to analyze several<em> case studies<\/em> in depth and concluded that LEGO\u00ae Serious Play\u00ae represents a truly stimulating approach.<br>We genuinely believe it can be an effective method and it is easy to understand why it has spread so quickly. <\/p><p>For us, drawing a comparison with Team Building Natura\u00ae was both natural and inevitable.<br>When comparing the two approaches, several interesting similarities emerged, along with some significant differences that, in our view, make Team Building Natura\u00ae formats even <strong>more immersive and inclusive<\/strong>, thanks to a unique and innovative working methodology. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-07bdd6c titoletto-blog elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"07bdd6c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">LEGO\u00ae Serious Play\u00ae and Team Building Natura\u00ae Compared<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-96e753b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"96e753b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>From a theoretical perspective, the affinity between the two methods is remarkable.<br>For example, Jean Piaget\u2019s constructivism is also a foundation of the Team Building Natura\u00ae approach. For us, <strong>direct, authentic and unfiltered experience is essential<\/strong>.<br>Our work consists of creating an ideal experimentation field, free of judgment, where<strong> participants feel safe and encouraged to explore<\/strong>.  <\/p><p>Constructionism is also present in our outdoor team building experiences. Instead of LEGO\u00ae bricks, we use <strong>natural elements <\/strong><strong>and Nature itself<\/strong> as sources of inspiration to achieve the same result: giving visible form to ideas, thoughts and intuitions while facilitating dialogue and shared understanding.<br>In our approach, the <strong>body<\/strong>, <strong>sensory perception<\/strong>, <strong>emotions<\/strong> and <strong>inner awareness <\/strong>become powerful learning tools.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f899bbf titoletto-blog elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f899bbf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">A Systemic Vision<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4af22be elementor-widget of the most interesting aspects shared by both approaches is the central role of systemic thinking.<br>Through direct experience, we guide teams to observe reality not as a collection of isolated elements but as an interconnected system, where <strong>each component influences\u2014and is influenced by\u2014others<\/strong>. <\/p><p>We encourage team members to move beyond isolated details and expand their perspective.<br>We stimulate reflection on<strong> the principle of interdependence <\/strong>and on <strong>the responsibility <\/strong>each individual holds in building environments of trust and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teambuildingnatura.it\/en\/psychological-safety-to-build-a-successful-team\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">psychological safety<\/a>.<br>Together, we explore recurring <em>patterns<\/em>, hidden dynamics, mental models and cause-and-effect relationships that often remain unnoticed.  <\/p><p>In doing so, we help teams understand the deep connection between individuals and the collective, two sides of the same coin.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f49a4d4 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\"
