Tools for Sustainable Development and Initiatives for a Responsible Future

HUMAN-CENTERED SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is an intrinsic value of the Team Building Natura® project. For years, people — their well-being and growth — have been at the heart of everything we do.

This commitment is one of the reasons we applied to join the Quality Made business cluster, a high-quality Cultural Identity label that certifies companies whose activities are based on the principles of cultural, environmental, and social sustainability.

Quality Made is a prestigious Cultural Identity brand that certifies companies committed to principles of cultural, environmental and social sustainability. Through rigorous criteria, the label promotes and recognizes companies that integrate high-quality practices into their operations, thus contributing to a business community committed to a sustainable and responsible future.

Being part of Quality Made represents a concrete commitment to creating positive cultural, environmental, and social impact.

ESG CRITERIA

Environmental, Social, and Governance: when Sustainability becomes a Corporate Goal

The Quality Made business cluster, of which we are proudly a part, is just one of the many sustainability-focused initiatives that have emerged over time, both locally and globally. As early as the 1960s, the concept of sustainability began to gain traction, eventually leading to the creation of the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) acronym in the early 2000s.

Since then, ESG criteria have become increasingly influential in shaping corporate strategies worldwide, evolving into key factors assessed by rating agencies.

Today, we are committed to supporting companies in achieving ESG-related objectives by offering Nature-based team building experiences that align with key themes of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Global Sustainability

Aligned with the 2030 Agenda: Team Building Natura®’s Sustainable Vision

Our approach is fully aligned with the principles and objectives that inspired the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda, a “plan of action for people, the planet, and prosperity, signed in September 2015 by the governments of the 193 UN member states“, which has become widely recognized across industries and organizations.

This resolution includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 targets, which today serve as strategic guidelines for many companies, influencing their processes, internal policies, and corporate culture. However, these significant cultural shifts can sometimes be challenging to navigate and implement effectively.

In this context, Team Building Natura® can truly serve as a strategic partner for companies that have chosen to embrace the challenge and actively contribute to building a better world from every perspective.

Global Vision

Reflections on the UN Declaration and Team Building Natura®’s Commitment to Prosperity and Sustainability

We have thoroughly analyzed the full declaration signed by the 193 United Nations member states and were pleasantly surprised by how deeply it focuses on human potential development and the pursuit of physical, mental, and social well-being for every individual.

It highlights dignity, equality, non-discrimination, equal opportunities, and inclusivity as essential tools for enabling individuals to fully realize their potential and contribute to shared prosperity.

Furthermore, the declaration strongly emphasizes Mother Earth and the inseparable bond between humans and Nature. Not to mention the continuous references to unity, sharing, collaboration, and partnership, emphasizing how private companies can play a fundamental role in this broader evolutionary process. A perspective we fully share, considering the influence that businesses and organizations of all types and sizes can have on the development of individuals and on society as a whole.

Global Sustainability and Personal Growth: Parallels between the UN Vision and Team Building Natura®

The declaration of the 193 UN Member States truly appears to be an invitation to recognize ourselves and others as human beings, regardless of the role each of us plays within society, and to fully develop our potential. This aligns perfectly with the very same goal we pursue through the Team Building Natura® project.
